Airplane crash in Grand'Anse, Jeremie, no survival

As it is usually the case, the latest information available reported that the crash is from a small airplane and the number of victims has been confirmed to be only two, and not nine

The crash is from an unidentified helicopter and not a small airplane as previously reported. Also, the number of casualty has been revised upward. It is now confirmed that a total of nine (9) people burned to death and are beyond recognition. The location of the crash has also been changed to Previle, in Grand'Anse.

It has been reported that a small airplane crashed in the department of Grand'Anse, near Jeremie.

We have not been able to identify either the airline company or the number of people killed; however, according to Radio Caraibes, there are no survivors.

The Airplane crash occurred between last night and early today (June 24 and 25, 2013) and according to the report, it happened near river Maro, some 20miles from the city of Jeremie.

According to eyewitnesses, two bodies were observed totally burned by the fire. Authorities have not been able to give any identifying information so far.
