The socio-community infrastructure is a US$23.9 million project built over a land of 7 hectares. The modern complex would house a center of technical and vocational training with 16 classrooms, 4 workshop blocks, a basketball court, an auditorium with a capacity of 600 seats, public plaza, beach resort, a market place with room for 1,300 merchants, a sub-police station with police dormitory, housing of the National Port Authority (APN) and the Maritime and Navigation Service of Haiti (SEMANAH), car parks, tanks and sanitary blocks. It would work as a commercial port serving the inter-regional and coastal areas of the Caribbean.
