You can now travel the streets of Cap-Haitian by Boat, thanks to flood

Whether it is caused by lack of maintenance on the part of the Haitian government in these rivers around the city, a neglect from the public sector to manage garbage collected by the citizens of Cap-Haitian and that the people have no choice but to dispose of their garbage in the streets or it is just an effect of the global warming, we need to get ready.
Thousands of families in the city of Cap-Haitian as well as other cities in the North of the country have been affected by the flood. Haiti's Department of Civil Protection has reported that more than 66 homes have been completely destroyed In the city of Cap-Haitian. Many walked through knee-high water to retrieve some of their belongings from their homes.
President Michel Martelly and Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe both visited the regions affected in Cap-Haitian and helped to distribute food and other supplies to flood victims. Senator Moise Jean Charles who has his mother passed away, visited the people in Cap-Haitian as well.
So far, a total of 12 deaths have been attributed to the flood
