FLASH - Danton Leger appointed to the Superior Council of the Judiciary ( CSPJ)

According to a Presidential Decree dated May 27, 2016, the current Government Commissioner of Port-au-Prince, Jean Danton Leger, has been appointed to the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ)

The CSPJ is a nine member Supreme Council of the Judiciary established in May, 2012 by former President Michel Martelly. The creation of the CSPJ was considered a historic moment in Haiti as many believed at the time it would mark a turning point in providing some independence of the Haitian justice from the executive government.

Scoop - Commission results to be made public Monday, at 4:00PM

The result of the Commission of Verification will be made public on Monday (May 30, 2016) at 4:00PM, Haiti time which will be 5:00PM in Miami, Florida. We also learned that the president of the commission wants to meet with President Privert before the these results are made public. Mr. Daly Valet, as we learned is the one with the responsibilities to assure the liaison between the Commission of verification and the Eeecutive branch.

Eric Jean-Baptiste now expects himself to be in second round

I would like for someone to tell me: Was ther any loosed in the last presidential election in Haiti. If you want to take statements from Jude Celestin, Jovenel Moise, Marise Narcisse, Moise jean Charles, and now Eric Jean-Baptiste, all of them are winners. The speculations and misinformation are multiplying which will make the job of the Verification Commission even more difficult. As a reminder, Eric Jean-Baptiste who is a member of the G8, came in fifth position in the first round of presidential elections. He believes that if all those who have been involved in fraud are expelled he would be in second place

Former candidate Jean Marie Liphete, shot dead in Petion-Ville

Jean Marie Liphete, who is a former Candidate for Deputy in Petit-Trou-de-Nippes under the banner PONT was shot to dead in Petion-Ville on Friday, May 27, 2016. Liphete who never accepted defeat received a little bit over 43 percent of the votes during the last election and lost to Claude Luc Guillaume from Renmin Ayiti who received 56%.

Reverend Father Julien said May 18 homily not political

Reverend Father Julien was on Radio show Ranmase Saturday (May 28, 2016) to bring some lights into his homily pronounced on May 18, 2016 when he was accused of supporting the PHTK candidate Jovenel Moise. According to Father Julien, he wanted to take the advantage of all the people who were there to promote local production and would worn those who misinterpreted his words, wanted to exploit his comments for political reasons.

On May 18, 2016, Reverend Father Julien stated: "Nap Manje bannan nan sou tout form, Bouyi, Peze, Papita.."

Wilson Laleau or Eustache Saint-Lot, one is not telling the truth on PetroCaribe

Two high officials of the Martelly government are in front of Danton Leger. One of them is not telling the truth about PetroCaribe fund. Is it former Minister of Economy and Finance, Wilson Laleau or General Manager of the Office of Monetization of Development Aid Programs (BMPAD), Eustache Saint-Lot? However Government Commissioned will know soon who is lying.

Eustache Saint-Lot is currently being kept at a Police station under the directorate of Public Procecutor until Wilson Laleau returns from a trip abroad. Danton Leger has plan to hear the two men in the same place and at the same time because they contradict each other at separate hearing.

Roro Nelson, now a fugitive sougth by INTERPOL

Roro Nelson is now a fugitive from Haitian justice, fleeing from custody. He is a wanted person. Government Commissioner Danton Leger was shocked to see Roro Nelson on Television participating in the Haitian musical event in Miami, Florida recently.

After more than 20 complaints against him with several court invitations left answered, Government Commissioner Danton Leger had issued an Arrest warrant against Roro Nelson. However; like many people, he was surprised to see Roro Nelson in Miami, performing with former President Michel Martelly. Mr. Leger intends to seek the help of The International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) to capture Roro Nelson and bring him to justice

Flood in Arcahaie, Leogane, Cite Soleil, Cap-Haitian

It doesn't take much to have flooding in Haiti. Following heavy rains in several municipalities in the country recorded mass flooding yesterday (May 27, 2016). A man died as a result of a landslide in carrefour where over thirty homes have been flooded. Haitian authorities are asking the population in several regions of the country such as Arcahaie, Leogane, Cite Soleil, Cap-Haitian to remain vigilant.

Our country of Haiti is being used as an example of what the world will likely look like by 2015 and it is not a good picture. Considered to be one of the world's most endangered places in the world in term of environment, Haiti is giving the entire world a glance of the future with climate change and global warming. Flash - Police officer shot dead after purchase from street vendor

This afternoon, Friday, May 27, 2016 what comes to become a current event in Haiti, a Police Officer is assassinated. Born on May 15, 1983 at Cerca Cavajal, Loubens Desrameaux who graduated with the 22nd promotion of the PNH was shot dead at the vicinity of Champs de Mars after purchasing a bottle of Guinness from a street vendor
