Andre then bounced back into the fights where he beat Jan Zaveck in the IBF welterweight champion. He kept the title for a while then dropped it and went towards other goals in his life. He has had a great professional career as a boxer where he has seen various winnings which are more than the losses he has had by almost a quarter.
Andre Berto began his career as a boxer at a very tender age when he used to be beaten by his father and was eventually lured into the profession which provided a solace for him. His brother is also a mixed martial arts professional who also may have taken the same path out of their father`s directive. Andre has had a very successful career fighting where he has had very many winnings such that he has been more of a champion beating even the best of the best off their titles.
He has had only one defeat in his life where he fought Ortiz and had 4 knockdowns and a unanimous decision relinquished him off his welterweight title. He however relinquished his IBF title so as to ensure that there was a rematch with Ortiz so that he could avenge his only defeat. Andre Berto also fought against Zaveck for the IBF Welterweight championship where he easily beat him to the point that Zaveck had to cut the match as he had been cut making Andre the winner.
