Ansyto Felix said current administration has plan to persecute political opponents

Investigative Judge Lamarre Belizaire signed an arrest warrant to throw Aristide in jail because he did not answer a summons to appear in the magistrate's courtroom. FL leaders, Gerald Gilles and Maryse Narcisse, revealed the charges against Aristide are predicated on a false report, drafted by the opposition after Aristide's ouster from office in 2004.
Jean Renel Sanon, opposition Minister of Justice, refutes claims the current government is trying to smear Aristide and his supporters. Sanon points to the fact neither Martelly nor Lamothe were in office in 2005 when the damning report came out. He feels FL should stop talking ". . . about political persecutions . . . . (and) cooperate with judicial authorities."
Aristide supporters have begun milling in front of his home to show their allegiance, anticipating his arrest. An Aristide supporter, Jonas Maxime, said, "If they want to arrest Aristide, they should arrest us too"
