Government Commissioner Lucmane Delille does Home Visit to Jean-Bertrand Aristide

Former Haitian president Jean-Bertrand Aristide who was expected to be present today (Wednesday, January 9, 2013) to answer questions regarding complaints filed against him by former Fanmi Se Lavi residents and members of cooperatives for fraud and embezzlement did not happen quite like that.

Instead, the Government Commissioner of Port-au-Prince was the one who went to the residence of the former president.

Jean-Bertrand Aristide was interviewed by Lucmane Delille was interviewed at the comfort of his own residence in Tabarre.

Did Lucmane Delille feel the pressure by the Lavalas supporters?

Several supporters of former President Aristide were present in front the office of Government Commissioner, Lucmane Delille, waiting to show support to their leader.

Je salue mes freres haitiens en la patrie et ne saurais gre de les demander de se surpasser ad perinde cadaver pour replacer Haiti au premier echelon de l'histoire des peuples.

Je me souviens d'un President d'Haiti qui eut a dire que "L'haitien peut quand il veut"; une telle asertion incarne une optative de bonheur capable a lui rendre sense et perspicace.

Je veux croire que l'haitien a la potentialite de pratiquer le culte des grandes vertus, de voir en l'autre un ami et un frere partageant les memes affinites et inimities, les memes aspirations nationales et cetera.Pour que la reconstruction soit effective, il faut a l'haitien ce supplement d'ame qui le portera a respecter les Chefs d'Etat et tous les gens souches du gouvernement de la Republique; de la etant il pourra s'immerger dans le Grand Ocean d'Amour qu'est la Patrie:" Patria vitam dare".
