Capotille Inhabitants Have Every Reason to Smile with a New Modern Hospital

The health center will serve 18,000 inhabitants who have been for a long time closing to the Dominican Republic to seek medical attention. The overall cost of building this hospital is estimated at $8 million gourds. The minister said that more is needed to be done to the newly established hospital. This is with regard to stocking the hospital with more health equipments. Other facilities will be added to the existing ones in order to improve the conditions of the hospital. In addition to that, the hospital still required an addition of more qualified professionals who will be treating the inhabitants of Capotille.
David Jean-Baptiste, the mayor for that municipality commended about the opening of the hospital. He said that the government has shown its effort in improving the health and welfare of its people in Capotille. Senator Jean Baptiste Bien Aime also commended the project of initiating more health facilities in Haiti. He said that the government of President Martelly and Prime Minister Lamothe has been doing great work in the last two years. He said that the hospital was started 2 years ago under the same government.
In another event, Dr. Florence D. Guillaume laid a foundation stone which will initiate the building of another sanitary departmental project which is targeted to be complete by the end of March 2013. This project is situated at the North-East part at the entry of the city of Fort-Liberte.
