Camelia Joseph won Discrimination lawsuit against Disney

A jury in Orlando, Florida on Friday, September 4, 2015 came with the verdict that Disney discriminated against Camelia Joseph on the basis of her national origin.

Camelia Joseph who has been working as a Security Guard at Walt Disney World for close to 20 years said that she has repeatedly attempted to get a promotion but was denied each time. She counted seven times the number of times she had applied for promotion and was denied because she is Haitian. She noticed several workers less qualified than she is receiving promotions and higher salaries.

US Judge dismissed Cholera lawsuit by Haitians against the United Nations

One big setback for the lawyers seeking justice and compensations for the victims of cholera in Haiti. Federal judge in Manhattan, Judge J. Paul Oetken, has decided to go with the argument presented by the lawyers of the United Nations which is that the United Nations is immune from any lawsuit because of treaties.

Haitian born heavyweight boxer Bermane Stiverne suing Don King

The name Don King is almost synonymous with the sport of boxing, but one of the prolific trainer's pupils, Bermane Stiverne, has filed suit against the manager on the claim that King forced him to sign a contract with his Don King Productions, an act which breached the Muhammad Ali Boxing Reform Act.

The boxer, Bermane Stiverne, who was born in Haiti, states that on the 26th of April, 2011, he met with the defendants, including Don King, his production company, King's stepson, Carl King, an associate of King's, Dana Jamison and Elite Sports and Entertainment Management, to sign a fight agreement with a King Productions fighter, Ray Austin.

Hit with $13 million lawsuit, President Rene Preval "Nan Cho"

If everything goes his way for Canadian businessman Charles Edward Narcisse, Former President Rene Preval would have to come up with the sum of $ 13 million to give him.

According to touthaiti.com, the Canadian businessman is suing our former President for something called "immeasurable damage"

Based on information obtained on touthaiti.com, Canadian businessman Charles Edward Narcisse is reporting that between 1996 and 1998, he has lived through hell in Haiti.

According to a complaint filed at the courthouse in Longueuil, Canada on October 17, 2013, his "immeasurable damage" came as a result of his work in Haiti to advise the government on reviving the Cement of Haiti and his problems with an influential family there.
