Cambridge has long been the home of many displaced Haitians. On June 4, 2017, Black Lives Matter Cambridge has arranged a Fundraising program between 5 PM and 8 PM to build Solar Panels in Haiti. The organizers are encouraging guests to donate more to specific items -- LED lamps, solar panels, water filters, etc.
Black Lives Matter Cambridge is part of the movement to end structural racism, locally, nationally and internationally. On June 4, 2017, there will be a live evening music program featuring live Klezmer, Folk and World music performances (plus dancing!). Venue: Griffin Museum of Photography, 67 Shore Rd, Winchester, MA 01890, USA.
