In its history the galleria has organized hundreds of national and international exhibitions as well as art fairs and biennales.
Michele Gardere Frisch is the name behind Galeria Marassa.
Michelle opened the facility after completing her artistic studies at The New England School of Art and the school of decorated arts in Madrid. From the two institutions, Michelle had acquired a degree in Art and Design of the environment.
She, Michelle, is an Haitian origin born to Mrs Marie Jose and Mr Yves Gardere in 1955 in Port-au-Prince. She married Wilhelm Frisch in 1977 and she is now a mother of three; a son and two daughters.
In the last three decades Michelle Frisch has held hundreds of exhibitions for Galleria Marassa. She has travelled widely and participated in fairs aimed at marketing Haiti. Mrs Frisch has organized several fundraisers to help boost local social and cultural projects.
Michelle has been in the frontline in promoting culture and tourism in Haiti. She currently sits in four boards for different culture related organizations.
Mrs Frisch has edited several books; Phillippe Dodard, Collection Gallerie Marassa, Pour Que Vive Ligne, I'ceuvre Picturale de sacha Tebo and Texte de Gerald Alexis.
