Prison break in Saint Marc, Haiti
Thirty-four prisoners managed to break Nissage saget jail in the city of Saint Marc just in time to do their holyday shopping. The report stated that the inmates managed to dig a hole on the prison wall.
Others reported that the prisoners crawled through a window and fled into the darkness.
Fears in certain regions of Haiti escalated at the start of the last month of 2014 when 34 prisoners escaped from the Saint Marc prison and fled into the night. The escapees, 4 of which were quickly recaptured, reportedly cut through their bars with saws to flee the over-crowded jail. Of the escaped was one person awaiting trial for a murder charge.
Prison Break in Cap-Haitian, two inmates escaped
It has been reported this Saturday (9/20/14) that there was a Prison Break that took place this morning in the Prison of Cap-Haitian. Five inmates attempted to to escape and three of them were successful. Police was able to capture two of those who made the attempt.
According to a breaking news just released in Radio Caraibes, three inmates in the Cap-Haitian prison that has been guarded by MINUSTAH mannaged to escape this morning. One of the escaped inmate is the number two in a popular gang that has been involved in kidnapping, killing and other.
Prison break in Croix-des-Bouquets, Clifford Brandt on the run
We have learned with certainty that there was a major prison break at the Prison Civil of Croix-des-Bouquets where Clifford Brandt and Sonson La Familia have been spending time for kidnapping.
We also learned that there was an attack today (Sunday, August 10, 2014) coming from the inside of the prison and Clifford Brandt among many others escaped from Prison.
Woodly Etheart, aka Sonson La Familia who was also a prisoner was not able to escape the prison. As of now, there has been a reward of One Million gourdes posted by the Haitian government for anyone with information on the whereabouts of Prison Fugitive Clifford Brandt.
