Le creole

Stephanue - October 29 2013, 12:51 PM

Language is a tool of communication.

When u have a country like Haiti where most of the people don't speak French while you insist on saying that French is the national language is just absurd.

Dialect...maybe.

The language of the Haitian people...?

YES! The international community knows that we don' really speak French that's the reason why they have things posted in creole to facilitate communication and make sure that people understand what is written or being said. While people have seen speaking creole as a set back or a negative for the Haitian people, I feel like the Haitians should stop living a lie. Some people in Haiti speak French most people speak and understand creole.

Communication is pointless if what is being conveyed is not understood.

Once we embrace this truth we can move on to learn other languages.
