Spring Valley Mayor Demeza Delhomme, Papa Del Behaving Like Papa Doc

Like many other Haitians, when Demeza Delhomme was only 21 years old, fled Haiti and took refuge in United States to escape the strict tyrannical regime of François "Papa Doc" Duvalier which was again followed by his successor son Jean-Claude, nicknamed "Baby Doc.".
Trustee Grossman's tweet was sent in response to a message issued by the Mayor's confidential assistant Floyd Morse that said "Obama has Republican obstruction to move the county forward. He should find a name for three Democratic Trustees (Grossman, Vilair Fonvil and Emilia White) who are obstructing our village." Asher Grossman on his tweet on May 9th, 2014, had included a harsh offensive word "Say No To Papa Del," that compared Spring Valley Demeza Delhomme with the infamous dictator. In his reply tweet on that day he wrote, "I have a good name. It's called a majority! Democracy rules! "Say No To Papa Del."
The Mayor has demanded an apology for the offensive statement, because he felt that the comment was hurtful and unacceptable. "Papa Doc" has a history of murder and destruction. It is insulting both to him and to the Haitian people.
But Betty Carmand, a Haitian native, said Grossman was not the first person who compared Delhomme with Duvalier. Earlier when he started firing people in December they were calling him a dictator like 'Papa Doc.' but that without any intention to discredit Haitian people.
Although Grossman's tweet has been deleted from his feed he was not available for any comment after the feud.
