The list of the new Ministerial Cabinet was published yesterday (Sunday, January 18), with inauguration scheduled to take place today at 4:00PM at Haiti National Palace

Martelly-Lamothe believe in Job creation, with more than 40 Ministers

Our government wants to remain true to its idea of of Job creation by increasing the number of Ministers and Secretaries in its Government. As a result of the new cabinet Reshuffle in Haiti, we now have more than 40, fully employed individuals; that is between Ministers and Secretaries of States.

Who said the the Government of Martelly-Lamothe doesn't believe in Job creation?

The business of Government or "Dirigen" in Haiti, leading the way to full employment in Haiti.

The government is likely to run into some problems with these new positions just created in the government. Where will the money come from to pay for this new positions? As a remark, the Executive increased the number of these ministers without the consultation of the Haitian Parliament.

Laurent Lamothe, most powerful Haitian Prime Minister since 1987

It seems like no one can touch Haitian Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe. According to Political Analyst, Daly Valet, this Government shake-up confirms that the Prime Minister has a hold on the Government. Daly Valet went further to say that Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe Laurent Lamothe has been the most powerful Haitian Prime Minister since the adoption of the Constitution of 1987.

The beginning of the end of Jean Claude Duvalier Reign

Four students were shot to death in the city of Gonaives by soldiers and Tonton macoute of the Duvalier regime in November, 1986. The security forces opened fire on an anti-government demonstration in the northern during several months. The government was desperate and made use of some of the most oppressive measures to stop the popular protest against Jean Claude Duvalier, including press censorship and jailing of opposition political figures.

One of the point that signaled the beginning of an end to the JeanClaude duvalier regime was his Cabinet Reshuffle of 1985. As the pressure was mounting from the population for Jean Claude Duvalier to get out of power, in a surprising 1:00a.m announcement, he announced a major Cabinet Reshuffling. He removed four principal Cabinet ministers following the shooting death of four school children in Haiti. The student were part of the general protest in the country demanding an end to the Duvalier regime.

Importance of Periodic Government cabinet reshuffling

A cabinet reshuffle is commonly the only way to solve economic and social challenges faced by any country.

A cabinet reshuffle makes a way out for non-performing ministers and replaces them with fresh leadership. The action may also have ministers reassigned to different ministries. The exercise is done to get a non-performing nation back on course.

Prevailing leadership problems are as a result of the absence of proper management and vision in the government of a country and putting in place a new team helps regain confidence.

Martelly-Lamothe Ministerial Cabinet Reshuffle

The Haitian government has finalized on a cabinet reshuffle following pressure on President Michael Martelly.

The reshuffle is the third during the 20 months reign of Martelly and the 2nd in 5 months. There have been claims that the current government has been unstable due to a non-performing cabinet.

The Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe informed the public about the planned reshuffle via his twitter account on Tuesday.

The reshuffle comes after several ministers resigned from their ministerial positions.

The swearing in of the new cabinet is scheduled to happen this Wednesday at around 10.00 am before the Prime Minister leaves the country for Devo. Among the ministers who were retained during the ministers shakeup include; the minister in charge of public health and his counterpart in tourism.

Haiti Cabinet Shake, Bernice Fidelia, Magalie Racine and David Bazile as new members

After so many speculations. After so many names mentioned to be on the list of termination in the Government of Laurent Lamothe, the decision has been made. After being in power for just over a year and a half. The Martelly presidency obviously has not been working to the satisfaction of the president.

As a result, some heads have to roll!

Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe gave the news about the reshuffling of his ministerial Cabinet via Twitter. The new members of his cabinet include:

Bernice Fidelia who replaces Daniel Supplice as minister for Haitians Living Abroad. She recently occupied the position of liaison with the Haitian diaspora.
