Jeanty played for 4 years in Canadian football League for Edmonton Eskimos before he left for National Football League in 2006. He joined Cincinnati Bengals in the league. He also was part of the football team of University of Florida before he joined Canadian Football League.

Rashad Jeanty was 6 feet and 2 inches tall weighing 245 pounds.

Rashad Jeanty made his debut in National Football League unexpectedly early after David Pollack was injured. He was lucky enough to get selected as the only rookie player of the league. The first match he played for Bengals was a big win for the team. Jeanty had two major tackles in that match. He performed quite well throughout the league and made appearance in all the games. Jeanty sustained a foot injury during the consecutive games he played in 2006.

At the beginning of the year 2010, Jeanty fractured his left fibula in a Wild Card game which ended that season for him. Due to his fitness issue he had to leave the Bengals at the end of August, 2010.

Following year in February, Rashad Jeanty made his way in Philadelphia Eagles for one year. However, he was released from the club just after six months. He rejoined the Edmonton Eskimos on February 6, 2012 after a six-year absence.
