Why Is Chambellan Adorable?

Chambellan is well known in Haiti for its vast cover of lush green vegetation. The biggest water source for the region is the stalwart Grand'Anse River which makes its way past Chambellan town. It creates an adorable and panoramic view for the town.

Chambellan gets rainfall in very large amounts and from the stunning mountains, water keeps flowing in abundance. This has led to successful agricultural activity in Chambellan.

Economic Situation

The economy is largely depending on the agricultural produce and livestock farming. Goats are being bred by a large number of organizations encouraging this. Tropical fruits, cocoa and coffee are the main produce of this agricultural village. These are exported to many other continents.

A non-profit making organization, called the Anne Clemande Juliean Foundation has devoted itself to making sure that the needy and poverty stricken children in Chambellan get necessary education. They are also provided with lots of love and affection, clothing, shelter and food. More than 370 children are being supported by the foundation.

If you visit Chambellan then you must visit the tall and stunning mountains and take a look at the breathtaking lush green landscape. Vegetation in the rest of the country has been denuded constantly, however in Chambellan it is otherwise.

Around nine kilometers away is located the Caribbean Sea on the town's northeastern side. Chambellan can be accessed easily by air via the Les Cayes Airport in Haiti located at a distance of 65 kilometers. It is well connected with the airport by road and rail via different routes.
