Harmonik Welcomes New Band Member Ti Papi

Looks like former NU Look guitarist Ti Papi is not really done with music yet. Earlier reports said that the musician, who resigned from NU Look recently because he said he needed to look for a job, has joined Harmonik. These reports were recently confirmed by Harmonik representatives based in Miami in the United States.

Some sources said that Ti Papi's close relationship with Harmonik lead guitarist Sanders Solon might have something to do with this development. Moreover, the decision was reportedly made as Ti Papi wanted to move his career forward and he believes that this would be possible by joining Harmonik. The band will officially launch Ti Papi at an upcoming premier in Hollywood. The performance is titled Carimi Vs. Harmonik. Fans might soon be hearing a new slogan that Harmonik came up with for Ti Papi and it goes like this: "Ti Papi ou jwen mezi soulye."

Patrick Casseus, Haitian guitarist and a drum player

A guitarist and a drum player from Haiti, Patrick Casseus was in the group known as Les Difficiles de Petion Ville which was headed by Henry Celestin guitarist, singer and composer. In 1970 Henry Celestine resigned from the group but the members of group formed another group by the name Difficiles PAction -Ville. In 1970 Ti Manno joined the band group which became so famous because of his presence.

In 1980's Ti Manno began his own band known as Gemini All Stars which he carried along some people from the other band like Mario Germain on Bass, Ansyto Mercier on keyboard Patrick Cesseus on drum, Imgant Manigat vocal and Ti Claude Geffrard Cajuste on lead Guitar. They came up with an album Expoitation. After that album all the members left the group because of being mistreated by the manager, Ti Menno's wife. Some of the members went back to Difficiles PAction Express. In 1985 the Difficiles PAction Express were awarded a large bonus by the government for performing well at the carnival. The members expected that the money would be divided among them but to their surprise the money was used to buy some instruments.

Haitian Musician Claude Cajuste

All that is known about him is that Claude G Cajuste is a lead guitarist from a Haitian band. The band he is part of is famous, though it has seen its better and worst days. He is an artist and a musician who utilizes her God given talent to the fullest without being ashamed of showcasing his talent.

The band's popularity grew 10 fold when star singer Ti Manno joined the band at the end of the 1970's. By the early 1980's Ti Manno came out with his own band, Gemini All Stars, with some young blood like Mario Germain on Bass, Ansyto Mercier on Keyboard, Patrick Casseus on Drums,Imgart Manigat vocal and Ti Claude Geffrard Cajuste on lead Guitar. After the album 'Expoitation" ironically the young blood left the band for unfair treatment by the manager who happened to be Ti Manno's wife herself.

Bemol Telfort to be honored by County commissioner Jean Monestime

Bemol Telfort was born and bred in Port Au Prince, Haiti. He was song writer, singer, guitarist, bassist, conga player, composer arranger and bandleader. Growing up in Haiti where there are many artists made him admire singing. At the age of six he started playing Conga which he did till the age of 8 where he used body percussion. Since he had no money to buy a guitar, he made himself one at the age of 10 years.

His guitar was unique, though it lacked some scales like c major. Telfort attempted to come up with a guitar with c major scale. To achieve this he bought various guitar books that he came across. To earn a living he played conga, breathing percussion instrument and his own made guitar.

Andre "Dadou" Pasquet to be honored by County Commissioner Jean Monestime

Andre "Dadou" Pasquet is Haitian artist. He was guitarist and musician. His music talent was inborn as it ran in the family. He played in the group known as Tabou Combo Radio Superstar.

He was a talented guitarist who played the guitar so passionately and was admired by everyone. He left Tabou Combo group and formed a band group known as Magnum Band. The band sound was unique because it was a mixture of Haitian roots, jazz, pop and soul filled Creole music. This band has made him to be honored for valuing Haitian culture in his music.

Alex Abellard, Haitian keyboard player guitar player

He is a Haitian by origin musician, keyboard player and a very talented guitar player. Alex Abellard was born in Haiti where he was raised up and grew to nurture his talent. He has over the years earned the reputation of being a great musician who has achieved much more than anyone would ever have thought. Among his many achievements he has been able to easily come up with a recording company where he is the sole owner and investor. He recruits young talented singers and artists and enables them to nurture and perfect their talent to the level of big professional artists popular all over the world.
