It is expected that if this effort can successfully promote and sustain development as anticipated, it will boost healthy competitiveness in the entire Caribbean region. The upcoming expo at Washington, DC on June 6 and 7, 2014 will focus mainly on finding ways to connect Caribbean region with global development and solving complex issues concerning investment growth, tourism, infrastructure, energy, technology and agriculture. The event will facilitate unique access, foster collaboration and partnerships, brokering deals, broaden the reach and encourage diaspora engagement through best practices.
The Haiti Renewal Alliance is a Washington based 501 (c) (3) non-profit privately held institutions. It promotes maintainable growth in Haitian business and job creation market with a vision to establish the country within a framework of self-sustained economy. The organization also attempts to maintain social and economic development through improving individual ability of Haitians.
Four years ago, one husband and wife couple, Firmin and Magalie Backer, organized the first conference of Haiti Renewal Alliance (HRA) in Washington, DC and exhibited the business potentials of Haiti beyond its borders. Recently, the organization has introduced Alliance Institute for Business Innovation which will incubate and develop new ideas in business and inspire people to achieve desired goal.
