Cholzer Chancy pushing for Jean Tholbert Alexis to be ONA Director

Among the political positions most attractive today in Haiti is the Director of ONA and to be in that position, one must have some very good friends high above. This is the case for the former President of the Chamber of Deputy, Tholbert Alexis. According to some correspondance made public, the current President of the Chamber of Deputy, Cholzer Chancy, has been pulling some cords to get the job to his friend Tholbert by recommending Tholbert Alexis to Prime Minister Enex Jean- Chjarles. He was also nsuccessfully recommended for the post of Prime Minister.

Haitians Honored for commitment and consistency in 2013

Several individuals in Haiti have been commended by parliament for their hard work and perseverance in being strong contenders for freedom of speech, press, equalitarianism, etc.

They are: Frantz Duval, Emmelie Prophet Milce Jean Tholbert Alexis Simon Dieuseul Desras Gary Pierre-Paul Charles, Anthony Pascal aka"Konpè Filo" Marie Lucie Bonhomme and Me Carlos Hercules and Francis Concite

These individuals received plates of honor for their promotion of these freedoms and rule of law in their country. Two branches of parliament have deemed these individuals brave peace workers who would step forth when many others may have been too timid.

Jacques Thimoleon Stevenson replaces Jean Tolbert Alexis

The government of Michel Martelly should no longer have any problem getting his wishes become reality at Haiti Chamber of Deputy.

The Deputy of Petit-Goâve, Jacques Thimoléon Stevenson, is the new boss in town. After an intense fight with the former President, Mr. Jean Tolbert Alexis, he finally made it

What makes this more interesting is that Deputy Jacques Thimoléon Stevenson was the President of Parliamentarians for Stability and Progress(PSP), a majority block that has been supporting the Martelly-lamothe government.

He was also a member of the Commission for Justice and Public Safety, as well as many other committees

The 210th anniversary of Haiti Independence, Gonaives

This proud celebration of our 210th anniversary or our independence was celebrated in the city of Gonaives. Starting with a Mass held at the Cathedral of Gonaives. Bishop Yves-Marie Péant who presided talked about love and unity.

The religious ceremony was followed by a presentation at the Place d'Armes of Gonaives where President Michel Martelly and several dignitaries were present, including Senator Simon Dieuseul Desra and Deputy Jean Tholbert Alexis.

A gesture that was very appreciated. The Haitian President had invited several former presidents to commemorate the 210th anniversary of Haiti Independence. unfortunately, only two showed up: Jean Claude Duvalier and prosper Avril.
