Zambia Government Reforms have not raised Country out of Poverty

Zambia is an inland nation located in South Africa. It is bounded by Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, and Angola. Its capital, Lusaka, lies in the south-center area of the country.
The United Nations Program for Development (UNDP) released a 2014 report, revealing Zambia to be the poorest nation globally. The other nine on the top ten list in ranking order are the Gaza Strip (81%); Zimbabwe (80%); Chad (80%); Maldova (80%); Haiti (80%); Liberia (80%); Guatemala (75%); Suriname (70%); and Angola (70%). Statistics on poverty in Zambia reflect 86%, or seven out of ten citizens subsist on fewer than a couple of dollars a day. Although Zambia is a top producer of copper world-wide it remains a poverty-stricken country. Other industry sectors include cement and agriculture.
