Municipal election results of October 25, 2015 released by CEP

In the middle of controversy and fraud allegation, the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) has released the preliminary results of the municipal elections for 140 communes. Some of the most remarkable and interesting are: Joseph Pierre Richard Duplan who became the new mayor of Port-au-Prince. Wilson Jeudy was re-elected as Mayor of Delmas. In the city of Les Cayes, Jean-Gabriel Fortune has become the new Mayor.

Below is a partial list of the results:

Port-au-Prince: Joseph Pierre Richard Duplan (PHTK) with 14.06%

Delmas: Wilson Jeudy (Randevous) with 21.16%,

Pétion-ville, Dominique Saint Roc (UNDH) with 14.56%,

Cité-Soleil: Jean Hislain Frederic (Randeous) with 7.59%,

Les Cayes: Jean-Gabriel Fortune (LIDE) with 42.34%,
Jacmel: Marky Kessa (KID) with 16.07%

Port-de-Paix: Josue Alusma of FUSION wan with 22.94%,

Cap-Haïtien: Jean-Claude Mondésir (BOUCLIER) with 16.62%

Gonaïves: Neil Latortue (AAA) with 30.06%

Hinche: Jonel Jean-Baptiste (Kontrapepla) with 26.40%
