A Healthy Diet Means a Healthier You

A bad dietary habit is the consumption of processed foods. This can range from processed meats and cheeses in deli cases, to pre-packaged dinners and snacks in the refrigerated and frozen food sections. These foods contain high amounts of sugar, salt, and fats, especially trans-fats. Processed foods such as cookies, doughnuts, pastries, cakes contain high fructose corn syrup, another toxic ingredient.
Healthy diet breakfast foods include cold cereals like corn flakes, shredded wheat, and muesli. If you like your cereal hot you can buy inexpensive bulk items like rolled and steel-cut oats, and grits. For lunches eschew processed American or Swiss cheese slices and buy blocks of unprocessed cheese instead. You'll discover the superior taste difference and be a convert for life.
Eat breads made with whole grains: wheat, rye, multi-grain, oatmeal. Avoid nutrient-depleted white rice and opt for brown or wild rice. Consume fiber-packed legumes: split peas, lentils, black beans, refried beans. Eat omega-rich seafoods: salmon, trout, tilapia, and tuna.
Once you start enjoying toxin-free food, you'll notice an improvement in your overall health.
