Michel Martelly to meet with opposition leaders, new push to break political deadlock

Holding elections have always remained a crucial part of recovery through democracy. All Haitians, irrespective of their ideology and belief should come forward in good faith to support elections. The optimum employment of every available resource builds the best future of a country and Haiti it is no exception. To resolve the deadlock, Martelly met Rony Desroches, the President of the Civil Society Initiative (ISC) and Edouard Paultre, President of Haiti's Association of Non-Labeled Actors. Martelly had a closed door meeting with the President of the Supreme Council of Judicial Power, the President of the Organization of People in Struggle and several other parliament members.
