Jean Alexadre joins Orlando City (Soccer)

Jean Alexandre was born in Verrettes, a municipality in Haiti, but was raised in the state of Florida where he entered Lynn University. While in college, he played for the Palm Beach Pumas and the Ventura County Fusion. He first gained international fame when he was drafted by Real Salt Lake in 2009 where he played for three seasons and did 38 appearances. Alexandre was then traded off to the San Jose Earthquakes in 2011.
While playing for the Earthquakes, the 26-year-old has been signed by the Orlando City Soccer Club to a short-term loan which began in June 6 and will last for two weeks. Orlando City's head coach Adrian Heath has high respect for Jean Alexandre's skills and strong presence, being able to play in different positions, and believes that he will be a very valuable addition to the team even for a short while.
Aside from playing for American soccer teams, Jean Alexadre is also an active player for the Haitian National Team. He holds a record of 13 caps and two goals while playing for the team. Jean Alexandre has also been regarded as a soccer hero by his fellow Haitians, inspiring young men and women to pursue their sports dream and bring Haiti international pride through their passion for sports.
