In film, Alex Desert has worked twice with Jon Favreau, first in PCU, then Swingers, and with John Cusak in High Fidelity (2000). He made a Sarah Silverman web advertisement, The Great Schlep, a public service announcement of sorts, in which Jewish, college-age students are asked to travel to Florida and urge their grandparents to vote for Barak Obama in 2008.
Alex Desert has also done voice work in Wolverine and X-Men (both in 2009), and in Lego: The Adventures of Clutch Powers and Lego Clutch Powers: Bad Hair Day (2010). He had a recurring role in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. He won a starring role as Wise in The Le Brons (2011), a uTube web program. More voice parts followed in video games, such as Tomb Raider: Legend (he played Zip), followed by Tomb Raider: Underworld; Splinter Cell: Double Agent; and Scarface: The World is Yours. Late in 2011 he played Zimos, a pimp, in Saints Row: The Third, produced by THQ.
Désert has been a very in-demand actor in all four entertainment mediums: TV, film, web, and video. Popular, still young, and handsome, he will continue to build an impressive résumé of work.
