Radio caraibes hit with stones by aggressive PHTK protesters

It appears that PHTK or the Political Party of former President Michel Martelly does no longer believe in Non-violence protest. Their protest last Saturday is definietly a turning point as they erected barricades, burned tires and broke several car windshields during their protest march. As they reached Radio Caraibes FM, the protesters launched some slogans against journalist and radio show host Jean Monard Methelus and threw stones on the building, breaking several windows.

Organized by Fednel Monchery of repons Peyizan and Jude Lajoie, of Platfom Viktwa, the protest was due to the violation of the accord signed to continue with the process of the election.

Prepare for explosion in Ranmasse as Andre Michel will be with Jean Monard Metellus on 10-26-13

What should we expect this Saturday at Radio Caraibes in Port-au-Prince? Let's look at the situation:

On the one hand, the government classified Andre Michel as a fugitive of the law. On the other hand, Andre Michel as he has been doing before, will likely say things that the government of Martelly will not enjoy, specially about the wife and son of president Michel Martelly.

Will there be a representative of the government to defend their position this time or will be in the presence of CIMO or a specialize unit in the Haitian Police force waiting down in in the streets to arrest attorney Andre Michel after Ranmasse show?

Plan to terminate the life of Jean Monard Metellus, Fact or fiction

According to Mr. Jean Renel Sanon, Haiti Justice Minister, the government managed to penetrate and prevent a plan to assassinate the well known radio host Jean Monard METELLUS from materialization.

This is what we have according to Mr. Jean Renel Sanon: There was a meeting held last Thursday to finalize the plan of attack in which two bikers were being paid the sum of ten thousand dollars to conduct the act. This is according to the Ministry of Justice. for the sum of ten thousand dollars($10,000).

To me, the first question is whether or not the amount was in Haitian or US currency. If anything, Jean Monard METELLUS should realize that his life is not worth more than $10,000 if any of us would want to believe that this plan was real and not something that was only real in the imagination of the Justice Minister Jean Renel Sanon and the rest of the Martelly government.

On the same day, 18 out of 20 Senators signed a letter contemplating an interpellation of three ministers, David Bazile (Minister of Interior and Collective Territories), Pierre Richard Casimir (Minister of Foreign Affairs) and Jean Renel Sanon (Minister of Justice and Public Safety).

Being a Minister of Justice and Public Safety of the country, Sanon exposed the incompetence and callousness of his own justice administration in an murder attempt of popular Journalist and Radio Host, Jean Monard Metellus, of Radio Caraibes. In Port-au-Prince in Haiti every Saturday, on the radio version of CNN's Crossfire, critics, politicians, wanting to be kingmakers, all arrive for a chance to spar verbal swords, accuse and debate on the future of Haiti.
Political Firefight

They are all ready to have the opponents shredded in the war to shape opinion of the public. There is no stop clock, no audience in the studio, no applause meter. The only thing to hear is the amplified sound of voices in Creole accent that emanate all through the city.

This political firefight is tuned into by all listeners from Haiti, Paris, Montreal and Miami. This is all happening in a nation where there has been a repression of free speech right from historical times.
