Breaking News - Minibus accident at avenue Poupelard, 8 in very serious condition

The CPD, officers of the National Police and of the Stabilization mission of the UN (Minustah) reported that a accident involving a Minibus caused 24 injuries. Eight of the victims are in a very critical state. The injured people were transported to the Hospital of the State University of Haiti to receive care.

As it is often the case, the reason for this accident was "Brake system failure". The minibus involved in the accident ensures daily transportation between Delmas and Portail Léogâne. The people that were struck include passer-bys, and the merchants of the place.

It was reported that the Government Commissioner, Me Jean Renel Sénatus and the Departmental Delegate of West Gonzague Edner Day were on the scene to assess the situation
