Abuse, bad management, Non payment of Petrocaribe fund revealed by Jocelerme Provert

In an address to the Nation on Sunday, March 13, 2016, President Jocelerme Privert described the current condition of the Petrocaribe contract with Venezuela as sick, almost dead. The contract has major problem, according to Privert.

One, We have not paid for the gas we purchased since August, 2015 (more than six months ago). As a result, the Haitian government owed several millions of dollars to Petro caribe.

Two, the Haitian government also owed the companies that received this particular fund from Petrocaribe to do several work projects in the country lots of money. At this time, most of these projects have stopped.

Jovenel Moise in fifth place, not qualified for run off election

Jovenel Moise and the political party PHTK have not been feeling well since February 19, 2016. That was the time when Jovenel Moise and representatives of PHTK met provisional president Jocelerme Privert and learned the bad news. According to Jovenel Moise who was recently on Scoop FM, PHTK was informed at that time by Privert that he was not aware that Jovenel Moise was qualified for the run-off presidential election. Instead, based on the information in possession of the Haitian president, Jovenel Moise came in fifth place in that election and not first as the CEP of Pierre Louis Opont would have suggested.

Journalist and Editorialist Daly Valet chosen by President Jocelerme Privert to head the National dialogue as his political advisor. Daly is the former head of the campaign of presidential candidate Pitit Dessalines.

Andris riche refers to Lavalas as pest rats, delinquents in suit

Senator Andris Riche once again went back to his rich vocabulary to describe the Lavalas movement started by former President Jean Bertrand Aristide. Following the investiture of Prime Minister Fritz Jean, in an interview given to the news media, Senator Andris Riche refers to both President Jocelerme Privert and Prime Minister Fritz Jean as Members of the Political Party Lavalas which already damaged Haitian politic. He also referred to them as pest rats, rabble, delinquents who are dressed

It's official, Jocelerme Privert has nominated Fritz Jean as Prime Minister

According to a senior official at the National Palace, economist Fritz Jean has been appointed to become the new Prime Minister of Haiti. Anthony Barbier told Reuters: "I can confirm that President Privert has signed the executive order appointing Fritz Alphonse Jean as prime minister". Although it was supposed to be published already, the executive order has not been made official yet. President Jocelerme Privert is expected to face oppositions in the legislative chamber for his choice. The biggest complaint so fat came from Senator Youri Latortue who said that both Jocelerme Privert and PM nominee Fritz Jean are both of Fanmi Lavalas tendency and do not represent a government of coalition

Youri Latortue denounces Jocelerme Privert and Edgar Leblanc secret deal

Who can accuse Haitian politic for not being interesting? After Prime Minister Evans Paul and many other pro PHTK supporters who who have been openly attacking President Jocelerme Privert, now is the turn of the Senator of Artibonite, Youri Latortue. According to the Senator, there is a secret agreement that exists between the Provisional President Jocelerme Privert and Edgar Leblanc who came close second in the election by the Haitian Senate for the nomination of the Provisional President that took place recently. According to Youri Latortue, the agreement was that Privert would become President with Edgar Leblanc placed as Prime Minister.

Shooting at RDNP office of PM candidate Mirlande Manigat

Mirlande Manigat has been the target of crime. We just learned that there has been a shooting at the RDNP office of Mirlande Manigat. No injuries have been reported. The unidentified shooter fled the scene. Mirlande Manigat is one of the six candidates for the position of Prime Minister for the new Provisional government of Jocelerme Privert. She has been considered to be the leading candidate

Jocelerme Privert to reduce number of cabinet positions

In a press conference given on Friday, (February 19 2015), the new Provisional President Jocelerme Privert said that the public treasury in Haiti is belly up, there is no money in it. He is strongly considering a reduction in the number of ministerial positions. In addition, the Provisional President had asked the Prime Minister to stop all appointments in Haiti Public Administration.

Anthony Barbier, New general secretary of the National Palace

Anthony Barbier who has been present and involved in all the activities of President Jocelerme Privert has been named general secretary of the National Palace. He will replace Jean Renel Sanon

On Thursday, February 18, 2016, Anthony Barbier has been installed as the Secretary General of the National Palace, replacing Jean Renel Sanon. He was solemnized by Enex Jean Charles, the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers. Anthony is the husband of well known Haitian journalist Liliane Pierre-Paul, who was very much critical of Martelly administration. M Barber holds a Masters in Sociology of development and a PhD in Education. His predecessor, Jean Renel Salmon was not present during his installation ceremony.

Now look at me inside the national palace with champagne, said Lavalas activist

There is no doubt that several factions of the Lavalas movement were present in force at the National Palace for the inauguration of Jocelerme Privert as Haiti new Provisional President. The event was marked by the presence of the current Fanmi Lavalas presidential candidate Maryse Narcisse and Aristide 's own wife, Mildred Aristide. Some people said that Jean Bertrand Aristide had deployed his heaviest weapon in a show of force.

Ores Nixon who is a Fanmi lavalas activist in the street was also present during the inauguration of Jocelerme Privert. According to Ores, "The last time I came to the palace was in 2003 when President Aristide was in power, now look at me, inside the national palace with a glass of champagne, celebrating the inauguration of our President Jocelerme Privert"
