As he arrived at the Place Notre Dame of Cap-Haitian, President Michel Martelly visited several location, including "Archeveche du Cap".
In a speech in front of the adoring fans, President talked about the promises he made during his campaign. He stated that today he has an estimated 4 million dollars available to sent children to school for free, and that President Bill Clinton added 1.2 million to contribute to the fund. He said that he will publish the names of 100,000 Haitian children that the fund will pay for their school.
Martelly also discussed the problem with available funding for housing. He also discussed the reason why the construction for Cap-Haitian airport stopped recently. The president also wants the money generated by Labadee to remain in Cap-Haitian
