Agronomist Pierre Gary Mathieu is dead

As an author he collaborated to write "The Department of Agricultural Inputs: its constraints and its orientation towards a better supply of South-East".
In 2014 in an interview with the news media, speaking for the government agency, CNSA, he informed them an eight-month had stricken the north-eastern region of Haiti, wiping out crops for the year. Livestock also succumbed to the drought.
Mathieu leaves behind wife Soledad and a daughter. He will be missed by all his friends, extended family, and colleagues at Promotion for Development, Ministry of Agriculture, and FAMV
