Clinton Bush Haiti Fund calls on Patrick Gaston of Verizon

The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund was founded following the January 12 Haiti earthquake. President Barack Obama requested the support of both Bill Clinton and George W. Bush to lead a fund raising endeavor in order to help the people of Haiti.
Patrick Gaston is also expected to reach out to the Haitian Diaspora currently living in several countries. He will encourage them to participate in the reconstruction of Haiti through investment and direct participation
This is the latest contribution of Verizon in support to the people of Haiti, following the devastating earthquake of 2010. The company has contributed so far up to $1.5 million to the victims of the earthquake. Patrick Gaston is one of the few Haitians who has been very successful and has occupied such an important position in a major corporation.
For his new position as the Senior advisor to Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, Patrick Gaston stated: "The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund has a unique mission of economic empowerment that aims to rebuild both the lives and livelihoods of Haiti's citizens and leave a legacy for generations to come. As a Haitian-American and as a representative of Verizon's unique corporate ethic and responsibility, I am eager to contribute to this important mission, and I am honored to be given this opportunity to serve."
