Linouse Desravines to represent Haiti in 2012 Olympics in London

Four other Haitian athletes also received their tickets for the upcoming Olympic. However, all of them will compete in athletics. Moise Joseph will participate in 800 m competition, Marleine Wesh in 400 m, Samyr Laine in triple jump and Jeffrey Julmis in 110m/hurdles. In addition, there are still hopes for four other Haitians to join the Summer Olympic in London. Josué Louis, Pascale Delaunay, Jonathan Juin and Roody Monrose are still going through qualilfication round which will end in the middle of July to book their place in London Olympic.
Following the announcement made by the President of the Haitian Federation of Amateur Athletics (FAA) Alain Jean Pierre, Haitian athletes went to France on May 29. The athletes attend a training camp there and will participate in different European competitions of qualification for the London Olympic. The Franco-American coach Emmanuel Jackson will train them during the tour. Unfortunately no Haitian qualifies for London Olympic in taekwondo, boxing, weightlifting and football.
Linouse Desravines, the only hope in judo in London Olympic for Haiti, was born on February 10, 1991. She has been going through tremendous training sessions and has good previous records in judo. In addition, she won a bronze medal in the 2011 Pan American Games for Haiti.
