Haiti National Dialogue has began, to what end?

This is something that has forever been in the public forum in Haiti. From Political Parties to religious, social and business sectors, many have been asking for a National Dialogue to bring all Haitians together. Now here is my question: Is this the real national dialogue we have been asking for?

Under the auspices of cardinal Chibly Langlois, President of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Haiti, a new attempt is taking place to finally bring all Haitians together; however there are many barriers that need to be crossed before we can actually get to a real National Dialogue.

How can a "National Dialogue" take place in Haiti without the participation of Fanmi Lavalas and the Movement of Democratic Opposition (MOPOD)?. I only have one response to this question: "Don't even think about it".

Another issue that will prevent a true National Dialogue is lack of trust. What is your best indicator of future behaviors? It is past behaviors my friend. Many who will be attending the Dialogue do not believe that President Michel Martelly will respect any resolution that would eventually be taken after the forum.

Mr. President, don't forget that Chibly Langlois is a Catholic Cardinal. Lying is a sin.

Even though there hypocrites in the crowd, you cannot avoid them. I think hypocrites exist in all government around the world.

This a good example.

Thank you so much
