Is Nicholas Duvalier the leader to revive the "Duvalierist" as a party

Here is Nicholas Duvalier, the son of former Haitian president Jean-Claude Duvalier and grand son of Francois Duvalier. Both Nicholas and Jean-Claude are currently living in the country and both meet the requirements to run for office.

I just want to bring this idea as I have seen it running its course in the social media. What do you think about an eventual candidacy of Francois Nicholas Duvalier for Senate at the next election in Haiti?

There are many interests and many potential candidates for the coming election that has not been scheduled yet. However, it will be one of the most important one as it will create the environment for the next presidential election in Haiti

Duvalierism without Duvalier Rule under Henri Namphy

Duvalierist - Henri Namphy - 1986 - 1988 - Manigat - Coup D'Detat - Prosper Avril - General -

The 42nd and 44th president of Haiti, Henri Namphy, who reigned over Haiti for the period between 1986 to 1988 and June 1988 to September 1988, is one of the remarkable figures in Haiti's presidency. During his first reign, he got himself on the throne through National Council of Government that kicked Duvalier out power.

Henri Namphy was not at peace immediately after taking over from Duvalier who had declared himself as the president for life. Strikes and riots were the order of the day and he reacted harshly through sucking top government officials who were diehard royals of his predecessor. His reign was unanimously referred to as the "Duvalierism rule without Duvalier" as he was no better than his predecessor. After a while, however, he was able to put everything under control and secured a two year reign to the beginning of 1988.

Is Michel Martelly a "Papa bon ke" or modern version of the Duvalier regime?

Looking at President Michel Martelly distributing gifts to those who could not afford to is truly a good thing. The president has been able to make Christmas for many families a little brighter. Many received gifts such as toys for the children, envelops with cash, motorcycles and even brand new cars for a few who were the luckiest.

I know this is good and specially at the end of the year it is probably a good thing to do for the people who have been through so much. Too many people in Haiti had to deal with so many bad situation for at least the past two years; namely. the 2010 earthquake, Cholera, poverty, insecurity, health issues, and much more.
