Things The Archbishop Was Critical About
At this mass he extended denunciation of corruption to the police, judiciary and the parliament. He was critical about a number of things like per diem expenditure, inequality denouncement, public resource wastage on travel, corruption and a large sector purchase of the press regarding forwarding incorrect information to the public.

As per the prelate in Catholics, it is not very normal that per diems of twenty thousand US dollars get paid to the authorities when they go to rest in a foreign land after or before the activities for the purpose for which they have to leave the country.

Accountability Of Government Officials
The Archbishop was indignant about this situation and questioned the Haitian people whether they will accept this kind of a situation passively. He gave an example of the Charles de Gaulle, the late General who paid for the expenses of his son's visit to Elysee to meet him when he was the president of France.

He stated that public funds are being misused to compensate expenses incurred by relatives of government supporters and authorities. The prelate added that the government officials should be made accountable for population management.

Misusing Funds
He criticized that even if funds were received for road construction work at Carrefour, the work had not been accomplished. He referred to the counterfeiter' network being dismantled recently which had specialization in paperwork.

Everyone knew about the operation of these paperwork thugs and that it was likely that quite a number of them served the state. He deplored a fact that, the people are not able to fulfill their destiny and the country is busy with this aspect.
