Jonathan Perry, AKA J Perry, the new Super Star in Haitian Music

Jonathan Perry (J Perry) was born June 4th 1988, in Port au prince, Haiti. He started playing music at the very young age of 6. He came from a large family; however, he was the only boy growing up among three sisters. In descending order, his sisters are "Shirley, the oldest, then comes Cynthia and then Chrystelle. His favorite dishes are Haitian food and Italian food. Jonathan Perry (J Perry) just love pasta.

J Perry became popular with the release of the famous music video "Dekole". The song became an instant hit on the Internet, featuring some big names in the Haitian music industry such as Shabba of Djakout Mizik fame and Haitian Rapper Izolan.

The music video "Dekole" showed a positive view of Haiti. It opens with a tropical view of the streets of Haiti with children play under a clear blue sky. Other Haitian celebrities included in the music video include: Miss Haiti 2010 Sarodj Bertin.

This music video displays the various ethnic backgrounds you typically find in Haiti. The people were all beautiful whether they were descendant of African, German, French, Lebanese or Polish
