Radio Caraibes and Patrick Moussignac, Ranmasse, Jean Monard Metellus

Brown Family created the Radio Caraibes in 1949. Currently, Patrick Moussignac runs Radio Caraibes, which hosts Ranmasse, the most popular talk show on Haitian Island. Radio Television Caraibes is currently working on call-to-listen service which will provide its listeners with an on-demand service. The popular talk-show Ranmasse, which is broadcasted live on every Saturday morning, will be made available 24 hours a day through AudioNow using the call-to-listen service.

AudioNow awarded Patrick Moussignac with Chairman's Award for Open Media Access and Social Engagement because of his innovative ideas which are geared not only towards the development of Radio Caraibes but also towards understanding the needs of the listeners.

$300,000 Offered to alleged victim to keep quiet on Josue Pierre-Louis Rape case

We have new information on the rape case of Josue Pierre-Louis.

New information coming from the father of the rape victim would suggest that the team working for Josue Pierre-Louis is willing to use cash and influence to keep the case from going any further.

It has been disclosed that the team defending former Justice Minister and actual President of the CEP, Losue Pierre-Louis, have been trying to buy the opposition. The father of the alleged rape victim said says that the Haitian government offered his daughter $300,000.00 and a job at a consul office outside of the country if she would drop her rape case against Josue Pierre-Louis.

Ranmase Saturday ritual on Haiti Radio Caraibes

In Port-au-Prince in Haiti every Saturday, on the radio version of CNN's Crossfire, critics, politicians, wanting to be kingmakers, all arrive for a chance to spar verbal swords, accuse and debate on the future of Haiti.
Political Firefight

They are all ready to have the opponents shredded in the war to shape opinion of the public. There is no stop clock, no audience in the studio, no applause meter. The only thing to hear is the amplified sound of voices in Creole accent that emanate all through the city.

This political firefight is tuned into by all listeners from Haiti, Paris, Montreal and Miami. This is all happening in a nation where there has been a repression of free speech right from historical times.

RadioTelevision Caraibes Ronald Vaval arrested for shooting wife's lover, Alain Lamothe

An incident that took place over three Months ago. The sport announcer for Radio Television Caraibes, Ronald Vaval, opened fire on Alain Lamothe who allegedly had an affair with his wife. It was reported that Ronald Vaval found his wife with Alain Lamothe in an intimate position; something that obviously he couldn't take.

Minister Louis Farrakhan, Wyclef Jean on Haiti Radio Matin Caraibes

Here is the latest. We have Minister Farrakhan on Radio Caraibes in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. On Wednesday December 14, 2011 the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and Wyclef Jean appeared on a live Radio/TV simulcast on Haiti's very popular morning shows.

With the team "Matin Caraibes, He mentioned that Haiti will be free again one day.

This was an opportunity for me to meet the team that animates Matin Caraibes from Monday to Friday, every week.

Also present at the radio show was the Haitian Superstar Wyclef jean. He was happy to have Minister Farrakhan to come to Haiti. He also believe that the Minister is the most powerful man in the world. The Message for today is: "L'Union Fait La Force"
