Haitians en Route to U.S. Embassy met barricades, tear gas
Another day of protest came and went in Haiti. Thousands of Haitians demonstrated on November 29, 2013 to demand that President Michel Martelly steps down.
This time the objectives of the protest were to ask the US Government to stop supporting the government of Michel Martelly and also to commemorate the election day massacre in Ruelle Vaillant.
Senator Moise Jean Charles wanted to meet uncle Sam; However, it did not happen. The group that went to march in front of the US Embassy met instead Riot police who blocked the area with barricades water cannon.
Lycee Philippe Guerrier and Jean Baptiste Boukman in Cap-haitian under attack
It has been reported that School children from two popular schools in the city of Cap-Haitian were the object of attacks this morning.
According to the report, some individuals who are not Police came in this morning and released tear gas.
several school children from the Lycee Jean Baptiste Boukman were hospitalized after inhaling tear gas. They were taken to Hospital Justinien in Cap-Haitien
So far noone knows who did the act but according to some, it is likely done by those against the appointment of head of the institution
Haitian Students Face Off with Police over the death of Damael d'Haiti
On Monday, November 13, 2012 Haitian students continued their demonstration over the death of one of their owns. This was the third day of non stop protest, where students are demanding justice for the death of Damael d'Haiti, a student shot and killed by a police officer over the weekend at the School of Law and Social Sciences in Port-au-Prince.

Haitian police and CIMO surrendering the protesters, blocked their exit from the law school, and fired tear gas. It has been reported that many people were affected by the gas. Children returning from school as well as other people going about their activities were affected.
Protesters massed in front of Provisional Electoral Council
Following the results of the Haiti election 2010 published by the Provisional Electoral Council on December 7, tires were shot flames in the streets of Haiti. Many people were demanding that the election were rigged by the current government with the support of the Provisional Electoral Council.
Hundreds of protesters massed in front of the offices of the Provisional Electoral Council in Port-au-prince throwing rocks and dragging enormous garbage containers into the streets.
They were later confronted by U.N. Peacekeepers who used tear gas and bullets to evacuate the crowd.
