The graduation is the first palpable result of the cooperation agreement between the IDAC and the OFNAC. The student's specialization in air traffic control and in procedure for aerial approach control is one of the highest. Air traffic controllers are in charge of maintaining the orderly flow of air traffic. The position requires highly specialized knowledge, in order to keep aircraft at a safe distance from each other.

As Juan César Thomas Burgos, Director of the ASCA stated, it is one of the proofs that the policy of the institution is that of making its facilities, technology and expertise available to more of the countries of Central America. Thanking the Haitian authorities for their vote of confidence, the Director of ASCA underlined the importance of such projects for raising the credibility of the Dominican Republic in the eyes of the countries in the Caribbean and Latin America region.

The Director of the OFNAC, Léopold Martin Roumer presented his gratitude to ASCA for being open to new experiences and providing such exceptional support and exquisite teaching staff, for the benefit of the Haitian students that chose to enroll in the air traffic controller program.

For this reason, the students presented plaques of appreciation to the Director and members of ASCA, shortly after the ceremony.
