Haiti president elect Michel Martelly goes to Washington

The newly elected president of Haiti, Michel Martelly is taking his first trip to Washington DC as the new leader of Haiti.

Although it has not been made official, Joseph Michel Martelly is the new leader of Haiti.

Martelly will arrive in Washington on Tuesday April 19 and will be there for three days. During the visit, he will meet U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and several actors involved in the project to develop Haiti.

Michel Martelly will be introduced to representatives of international financial institutions as well as representatives of the Inter-American Development Bank.

He is expected to meet with several international medias such as media like CNN, the Washington Post and Fox News and others
