This is so sad. It is a shame that you peopole are bad mouthing the current mortgage system in the U.S when you are always so quick to show off your big house.

Please tell me when a mortgage broker or loan officer forced you to take a loan that you couldn't afford.

There is always a choice, don't blame the system if you made the wrong one because you didnt care to read the fine print, didn't care to research before you buy or didn't care to verify what your friends were telling you. If after you pay your mortgage and there is nothing left in your paychek don't you think it is becasue you bought something that you couldnt afford.

Today you are blaming the system but tell me how long it would have take you in haiti to make enough money and build the same house that you are currently living in?

What did you want for the bank to lend you the money for free and don't protect their interest?

You people need to start to be real. Before you said no to the mortgage system in Haiti, think about the possible development.

How many houses you see in haiti with no roof or no windows.

Is that the image you are voting.

By the way, as an FYI morgatge is not new in Haiti.

ONA has been giving mortgages for years now. It's simply in a different form. SO please, let's stop the ignorance, stop blaming a system when you have a choice, and start teaching your kids about financial responsibility.

I am 100% Haitian but just can't stand people talking just to say things but don't want to assume their responsibilities.

REMEMBER THERE IS ALWAYS A CHOICE IN EVERYTHING.
