Senator of the Artibonite, Youri Latourtue, accepts Michel Martelly victory

Youri Latortue, the nephew of former Interim Prime Minister Gerard Latortue and also the current Senator of the Artibonite region in Haiti has decided to accecp the victory of Michel Martelly over his candidate Mirlande manigat.

Senator Youri Latourtue is a member of the Collectif pour le Renouveau Haitien (COREH).

He was one of the leading supporter of candidate Mirlande Manigat for the presidency of Haiti in the 2011 race.

Following the preliminary results of the run-off election in April 2011 by the CEP, the Senator of Artibonite, Youri Latourtue has welcomed the victory of Michel Martelly and urged his friend Mirlande Manigat not to challenge the results
