Staying in Jacmel for a vacation is comfortable, given the number of guesthouses and hotels available in the town. What's better is that the accommodation in Jacmel is normally cheaper than in other cities. There are several famous hotels in the town, including Hotel Cyvadier, Hotel Florita and high-end Cap Lamandou Hotel.

Jacmel is rich in beaches. People often come here to have fun at the local beaches and enjoy the warmth of the sun. However, the beach is not the only attraction in this town. There are historic places that people flock to. Among these are the Cathedrale de St. Philippe and Maison Cadet. Jacmel's market is a famous spot for tourists as well as this is where people can buy Carnival masks and find restaurants offering various Creole foods.

Getting to Jacmel is not that hard. Tourists can land on the Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Port-au-Prince, from where they can take a flight, bus, or taxi to the town of Jacmel. Travel time from the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince to Jacmel may take up to 20 minutes.

These are only some of the reasons why Jacmel attracts many tourists. Not only it reflects Haitian culture but spending time here is also not that heavy in the pockets.
