Judge Yvickel Dabrésil wants to charge Mirlande Libérus Pavert

The naming of the co-conspirators has been a long time coming, with fear behind the slow pace of the progression of the case. The seventh judge to handle the case has found a way to push that fear aside and, with the evidence given by 19 witnesses throughout his investigation that lasted from 2011 to 2013, he's been able to push a prosecution for the murder of the outspoken and controversial journalist further than it's ever been.
The accusation against Libérus comes from the testimony of Oriel Jean, a former security chief for Aristide who refuses to leave the United States to testify. Her claims against Libérus have been challenged by Aristide during his testimony. He stated that Libérus is merely a victim of Jean's lies. Supporters of FL also hint that the whole thing is a strategic move by the current president in the wake of the local and legislative elections that are due.
