Michel Martelly received Great Cross of the Order Gil Colunje award in Panama

Michel Martelly was recently at the 3rd Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Caribbean to Gros Islet (St Lucia) where immediately they left he went to panama to receive this award. In his acceptance speech he said that the award rejuvenated his admirations and plans for his country where he was totally dedicated and focused into achieving what has been rejected from the country for a very long time and which is a good leadership.
Haiti has been a country under a great deal of strain and stress over the last couple of years where it has undergone many different kinds of problems ranging from bad leaders natural calamities such as the recent 2010 earthquake that left half the country in turmoil.
It is one of the poorest countries in the region having the highest numbers of unemployment cases and low mortality rate. This proves that the country has been through a lot and that change was in dire need. It is however easy for the citizens to smile and sigh after establish beyond doubt that things in future could be better. This is after various demonstrations by the government showing of their dedication into driving the nation in the right nation. It is believed by experts that Haiti is one of the potential countries of becoming a super power if well governed thus things could be better.
