Haiti Presidential candidates likely to swallow their own words

On election day, fifteen candidates for the 2010 Haiti election decided to take the high ground and stand on principles by calling for the annulation of the election.

Haiti Election 2010

The election day was marked by mass irregularities, chaos and confusion; consequently, 15 of the 18 candidates issued one statement which is for the annulation of the election.

This is something historic because I can not remember when we were able to get even two Haitian politicians to agree in one thing. The last time something similar happended in Haiti history was probably to gain our independence over 200 years aggo.

My question now is will this old?

Will all 15 candidates abide by their conviction to reject this past election since they all agreed that it was not valid?

What will happen if the CEP decides to accept the results of the election and declare two of those calling for the annulation of the election winners and eligible to run in the runoff election scheduled for January 6, 2010?

Will all of them stand on principle and reject the decision of the CEP, regardless of whom that benefits?

Will dignity triumph over ambition for power?

Will greed triumph over moral values?

So many questions.

Just in a few days we will know the result of all of them

It is the CEP's responsibility to organize the elections well in the country.

If the majority of the candidates agree that the elections were not good. I think that there is no way that the CEP can publish the

YES FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME THOSE LEADERS WERE ABLE TO GET TOGETHER NOT FACE TO FACE BUT OVER THE PHONE.

THEY WERE WRONGLY INVVOLVED IN CALLING FOR THE ANNULATION OF THE VOTES IN GENERAL WHREAS THEY SHOULD HAVE CONCENTRAFED THEIR EFFORTS ON MAKING SURE THE PROCESS CONTINUE ELSEWHERE SO OTHER PEOPLE COULD STILL CAST THE VOTES.
