Evans Paul declares to Unite Haiti and Resolve Political Crisis

The press received more information that Parliament's lower chamber is convening on the 5th of the month to review Evan Paul's eligibility for the office of prime minister, set forth in the Constitution's Article 157, which has six requirements that Paul must meet to take office on the 6th of January. He must:
Been born of Haitian parentage and never given up his citizenship.
Be 30 years old at a minimum.
Be a citizen in good standing and never served time in prison as a convicted felon.
Be a business owner or otherwise engaged in a profession.
Have been a resident of Haiti for five succeeding years.
Is no longer responsibility for administering public funds.
Paul gave a speech Friday the 2nd saying he wants to ". . . secure . . . cooperation of all sectors . . ." He responded to charges he is a crony of Martelly's, asserting, "I had not teamed with him . . . not campaigned for him . . . I have come to . . . make things move forward because the country is in crisis . . ."
