Did the revelations of Oriel Jean help or hurt Jean Dominique Case?

The revelations made by Oriel Jean on the assassination of Jean Dominique was shocking. There were many damaging revelations made by the deceased that are supposed to bring some lights into the case and eventually bring justice to Jean Dominique case. However, that is not the case. The decision of Guyler C. Delva to release the tape of the interview on this day, and under these circumstances left many with unanswered questions.

Oriel Jean who was the security chief for President Jean Bertrand Aristide from from 2001 to 2003 was assassinate by armed individuals on Monday, March 2nd, 2015 in Delmas. He is an ex convicted from US prison. Oriel was convicted to spend 30 years in US prison but managed to spend only three years after some inside deals with the US government.

Nine accused in the killing of radio journalist Jean Dominique

In April of 2000, noted, uncompromising and controversial journalist, Jean Dominique arrived at work at his radio station, Radio Haiti Inter. As he pulled into the lot, unknown gunmen attacked him, killing him and the station's security guard in the act. For over 10 years, despite many cries for justice from various fronts, not the least of which was the widow of the deceased journalist, no definite moves toward seeking prosecution for the masterminds of one of Haiti's most striking assassinations had been made. Today, through the efforts of investigative judge, Yvikel Dabresil, 9 people stand accused of the conspiracy which claimed the lives of two men.

Does Guyler C Delva have the instinct of Rat on sinking ship?

The announcement this week of Guyler C. Delva to leave his position as Communications Advisor for President Michel Martelly has been making the round and has been subject of many interpretations and comments. Rats abandoning a sinking ship has been the idiom many have been used since to describe his action.

Is this true or not?

The idiom "Rats abandoning a sinking ship" is often used to describe large numbers of people leaving when something is about to fall. Similarly, you notice large number of employees leaving a company. The company must be going bankrupt.

Guyler C. Delva no longer working for President Michel Martelly

To the surprise of many, Guyler C. Delva announced that he is no longer an advisor to President Michel Martelly. This announce was made by Mr. Delva himself at the popular Radio show: Ranmasse this Saturday, November 9, 2013.

Does that mean we will no longer have the presence of Guyler C. Delva every cause for the Martelly government?

He stated that he took the decision to leave his position as adviser to the president to give more time to his new work which is to work to defend assassinated journalists under the "SOS Journalist Association.

A wave of Anti-government protest in in Cap-Haitian and Cayes

The population has been until recently very patient with the Haitian government. In the mean time, the Martelly - Lamothe government has been trying to get the economic engine of Haiti running but to little success so far. This week, the second largest city, Cap-Haitian, and the third largest city, Les Cayes, have demonstrated publically their frustration with the current government.

Hundreds of people took to the streets in the city of Cap-Haitian on Wednesday to protest against the deterioration of their living conditions. Some of the protesters denounced the recent behavior of the government, calling it continuous propaganda campaign
