Jozy Altidore is currently in the club Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar in the US while at the same time he is a US national team player. He began his career at a very tender age of 16 when he was picked out as the 17th to play for MetroStars now the New York Red Bulls where he traded up to receive the selection.
Altidore however spent almost the entire season away studying to receive his high school diploma. He received his first debut professional goal by scoring against DC united in a 3-1 loss. He scored again exactly a week later against the same team in a 4-3 loss making it a score of 3 in all his 7 appearances.
Jozy Altidore also scored the only goal for RedBulls in a semifinal series which was of a major league making it to be the youngest player all over the world to score in a great league as that one. He beat the initial record by almost 3 years and as such he became a fan of many. He has had some major movements since then where for the last couple of seasons he has been out of his team on loan for various teams. He is however one of the few players very much loved all over the country and likely to make it to great heights.
